FOOD FOREST INSTITUTE
The Food Forest Institute is specifically committed to the development of large-scale food forests aimed at sustainable food production with room for nature and biodiversity in Belgium and around the world.
COMMENSALIST
Louis De Jaeger is CEO of the time-tested garden and landscape architecture firm Commensalist©. An emphasis on natural, low-maintenance, edible landscapes that people can enjoy for generations. Commercial areas, gardens, schools, farmland and large estates.
BYE BYE GRASS
With the slogan: “Make Europe wild again” ByeByeGrass wants less lawns and more flowers and bees. An awareness campaign for climate proof gardens and landscaping.
THE BIGGEST TREE PLANT
With Give A Day, Levuur, BPart, Indiville, Dinnergift, Forest To Plate and Spindokter, Louis De Jaeger wants to organize the largest tree-planting campaign ever in Belgium.
BOGUSCAT
An artistic outlet where Louis creates cinematographic and musical productions with T-na.
POST CORONA MOVEMENT
During the Corona pandemic, Louis founded a citizens’ movement with three entrepreneurs, which grew to 10,000+ members and 50 volunteers in a couple of weeks.
